“Tim and his crew brought out the best in our teen participants during the Puzzle Project.

They gave basic ideas and instruction, walked around looking over shoulders, answered questions and helped resolve artistic challenges while instilling a passion for art and self expression. Tim and his team are dynamic, inspirational and charming. Our teen artists loved them and have made the commitment to attend other puzzle project workshops.

The final puzzle is hanging in our entry foyer and looks amazing. We've received a wonderful response from the teens, parents and community."

“Our club finally had the workshop with our Balboa Naval Hospital.

The group I specifically worked with was a small unit of patients suffering from PTSD. At first I wasn't sure we were going to have the workshop as there were a few who were not in an 'art' type spirit, but as soon as they sat at the table they were smiling and really enjoying themselves. Their director was so pleased we were able to provide an activity like this and it's all because of YOU and your wonderful art movement! It was a very rewarding experience. However, because of policies regarding patients privacy I was unfortunately not able to take photos during the workshop, but am looking forward to sending you their pieces the end of this month".

“The Puzzle Project is masterful in using the great powers of art to build community, encourage dialogue and add unexpected beauty to our world.

The Puzzle Project supports and extends ACNY’s mission to make original artwork available to New Yorkers in non-traditional ways. It offers a rare and rich combination that generates individual achievement and group involvement. ACNY’s first workshop was nothing short of remarkable! Some 30 people, ranging in age from 6 to 70, arrived ready to create puzzle pieces, and did they ever! Each finished piece its own unique creation."

"When I play basketball I feel Zen" this puzzle piece is about a love for basketball and the magic of being in "the zone". It also talks about turning a negative into a positive when a broken arm turned into developing an effective hook shot. #puzzle #art #project #basketball #zone #artisgoodforyou #puzzleartproject #expression #create #connect #collaborate #worldwide #exhibition #brooklynbased #greenpoint #brooklyn #nyc #ballin #nycart #artinstallation

Puzzle Installation & Collaborative Project with Tim Kelly in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Last week my family lost my big brother Dan Kelly unexpectedly. He was a big fan of the puzzle project and very supportive of it's growth. He created more than one puzzle piece by himself, with his children and brought me to Maryland to make puzzle art with his kids school. Danny even brought me to his company for a corporate teambuilding. He will be hugely missed. If you love someone tell them and hug them. There are no guarantees in life ☹️❤️#puzzle #art #project #love #loss #create #connect #collaborate #heal #worldwide #exhibition #brooklynbased #installation #greenpoint #brooklyn #nyc #timkellyartist #puzzleartproject #artisgoodforyou #expression #artheals

Dear Tim,

The puzzle project on our last day of school at Congregation of Reform Judaism in Orlando was a resounding success. This project was the school's contribution to a collective arts week for the synagogue. Thought you'd enjoy perusing some of our photos. The children were quite enthusiastic in the planning and the executing of the project. And most of all, thanks for your creativity for designing this amazing project. It was all we hoped it would be.

Artfully yours,
Sheryl and Judith

Puzzle Installation & Collaborative Project added 21 new photos to the album: The Puzzle Project in Osaka Japan — at Osaka International Senior High School.

The Osaka International School made puzzle art and used clay to create animals to affix to their puzzle pieces. Artstanding!! They are part of a group of schools including, Ecuador International School, FDR Roosevelt Lima Peru and the Uruguay American School in Montevideo, Uruguay.

The schools have paired the animal conservation project, Charles Summerfield's Rhinosaverz ( charliesurj.com ) and The Puzzle Project to teach students awareness of animal conservation and provide the Puzzle Project as a platform to tell their Rhinosaverz story.

Big thanks to Tendai Wilkinson of the The Uruguayan American School for putting this all together. She plans to expand this Internationally. More info to come...
